Why is it so hard to take the Facebook Winklevoss twins seriously? Vanity Fair is featuring them this month with an Abercrombie & Fitch style spread and an update on their legal woes.
Their ongoing gripe is that the final settlement with Facebook was based on incorrect valuations. They are not giving up.
In the film “The Social Network”, there was something vaguely comical about the twins and to this day, the problem persists. Their interests appear limited to litigating and competitive rowing. A change of talking points is needed. Break with the past. Talk about plans post Facebook.
The PR Verdict : C Minus for the twinnies.
Stop finishing each others sentences, don’t interview together and find something else to talk about other than rowing and /or Mark Zuckerberg. You are in your thirties now – what else do you want us to know about you? And don’t pose in spandex again.
